It is a great honor to be servicing so many families and taking care of their vacations. That’s what we set out to do when the club was launched onto the open market. Since then we have seen tremendous growth and continue to thrive. The vacation industry has changed dramatically over the last 30 years and our dream was to take things in a new direction. We have done that, which has brought forward more control over vacation ownership to the customer. A thing we felt was truly needed. Less restrictions and more importantly greater savings and choice.

GVC has purposely been designed to cater for the 21st century discerning traveller, who commands quality accommodation as well as a wide variety of destinations and cultural experiences to cherish.

Global Vacation Club - Guest Certificates
What is a Guest Certificate?
A Guest Certificate allows a friend or family member to check in to a vacation resort at any GVC affiliated resort booked through your GVC account. They can be purchased with cash/credit or debit card and applied to an internal exchange vacation. Guest Certificates can also be applied to Global Voyagers and Global Gems vacations. Simply indicate that the vacation is for a guest at the time of booking.
How do I purchase a Guest Certificate?
The easiest way to purchase a Guest Certificate for a vacation is via membership services at the time of booking. For Guest Certificates being applied to Global Voyagers and Global Gems. Simply indicate that the vacation is for a guest at the time of booking.
Step 1: Find the vacation your guest would like to book.
Step 2: Inform member services and provide details for traveling party.
Step 3: Request & quote - (Add Guest Certificate) and member services will do the rest. Simple.
If you have already booked your vacation and want to add a Guest Certificate, you can follow the steps below:
Step 1: Call or email membership services providing your confirmed reservation booking number. Inform them you would like to add a Guest Certificate.
Step 2: Furnish member services of the guest’s details in order to update your confirmed reservation.
Step 3: Once confirmed you will receive confirmation via email within 24 hours of making the request. For Exchange Vacations you, as the subscribing member, must make the booking on behalf of your guest by calling or emailing your request directly to membership services.
How much does an Guest Certificate cost?
Guest Certificates cost $ 25 USD. Please note that regular transaction fees apply. Contact your card issuer for fees applicable.

Members and Guests (a) Neither Vacation Time deposited with GVC nor an Exchange Request nor a Confirmation may be used for any commercial purpose, including auction, rental or sale, or rental or sale of the time period unit which is represented by such Confirmation. A Confirmation may only be used by the Member who receives it from GVC unless that Member gives the Confirmation to a friend or family member by purchasing a Guest Certificate from membership services for the Guest Certificate fee current on the date of issue. Similarly, the only person who may request or receive a Confirmation or make an Exchange Request with respect to deposited Vacation Time shall be the Vacation Owner of such Vacation Time. (b) Guest Certificates may only be used by the individual(s) named on the certificate and their guests and may not be used by persons under the age of twenty-one (21). Guest Certificates are non-transferable and may not be used for any commercial purpose, including rental or sale. Their use is subject to any conditions, restrictions or limitations, which may be imposed by the Affiliated Resort or accommodating party. (c) You are responsible for all acts and omissions of your guests and for any damages caused or expenses incurred by your guests. (d) We will fully refund Guest Certificate fees when a Guest Certificate is canceled more than sixty (60) days prior to the beginning date of the Confirmation. We will not refund Guest Certificate fees when a Guest Certificate is canceled within sixty (60) days of the beginning date of Confirmation. (e) Guest Certificate rules may vary for exchanges into accommodations other than Vacation Ownership.
